
I walked through a replacement content cost calculator and it literally blew my mind. The concept is simple but the facts are plain for all to see – your content is worth money, literally.
And, the replacement cost, I would argue, is even more than what the calculator estimates since there’s more than time taken to create a blog post – it doesn’t take into account the residual income from advertising, services, or even products that are marketed and advertised through your content.
Affiliate marketing anyone? Yes.

John, thanks for linking to the calculator. We went over a lot of different scenarios and figured a basic content replacement calculator would be easiest to start with and just base it on time.
There’s also the time it takes to setup and tweak your site.
